It may seem like a long time ago, but back in January, the team from Princess were all set for a new round of pre-season Boat Shows as they headed for London and Dusseldorf – two cities, two major shows, and an incredible range of new motor yachts.
In London, an impressive double-decker stand featured five fabulous new yachts, including the World Premiere of the Princess S60, which was received with much acclaim. Also on display was the magnificent Princess 75MY, the Princess 60, Princess 49 and Princess V48 Open.
New for 2017, in homage to Princess craftsmanship, visitors were treated to a ‘beneath the bows’ Visitor Experience. The Experience lifted the lid on Princess, and for the first time ever, gave visitors an insight into how these beautiful craft are made and the chance to engage with some of the people whose skills and craftsmanship create these very special yachts.
The Princess stand in Dusseldorf featured no less than 8 new yachts, and brought visitors an exciting first glimpse of the Princess V40. Based on the layout of the ever-popular Princess V39, the V40 offers a sharp new exterior profile and a fresh, modern interior scheme. Delighting this largely European audience, a further seven yachts graced the Princess stand, including the magnificent Princess 30M superyacht, the Princess 75 Motor Yacht, Princess 49, Princess 43, Princess 60, Princess 68 and the Princess V58. All told, an impressive line-up, backed once again by demonstrations from the Princess team, keen to show their skills to a new audience.
Both shows provided a superb kick-start to the boating season offering a real high-point in the winter gloom, and paving the way to the exciting season ahead.
HOT OFF THE PRESS
British Marine Boat Shows, organiser of the London Boat Show, has just released plans for a ‘re-defined event’ for next year.
The 2018 show at ExCeL London will now be a five-day event, instead of the usual 10 days, starting on Wednesday 10 January until Sunday 14 January 2018.
The dates have been selected to move the show further away from the Christmas and New Year period in order to entice more exhibitors and visitors. The revamped event will also encompass new shows within the show, introducing the Boating & Watersports Holiday Show and another event to be announced soon. Watch this space for more news!
