Last month saw the live launch on Facebook of the Princess X95. This was an industry first, which saw a virtual launch of this flagship yacht unusually through social media channels. The event took place over a couple of hours during which viewers had the unique opportunity to experience a virtual tour of the X95, both inside and out, and pose questions about its construction to the Princess panel.
The X95 is the first of a flagship range of yachts. It establishes a new ‘Superfly’ X Class, re-imagining the concept of the flybridge yacht by creating more extensive outdoor space and an innovative configuration that makes the most of every inch of space on board. The design is a collaboration between Bernard Olesinski and legendary Italian styling house Pininfarina. The new hull, designed exclusively by Olesinski, evolves the original deep-V concept to provide 15% improved efficiency along with outstanding stability and sea-keeping.
Both main and fly decks extend virtually the entire length of the yacht. Allied to an enclosed, climate-controlled Sky Lounge and flexible open-plan layout, the X95 combines the space and luxury of a superyacht with the range and purpose of a compact explorer vessel. In fact, with its high superstructure and vast glass panels, the exterior design feels like the pioneer for a brand new form of motor yacht.
For those who missed the live launch, the event is still available to view on the Princess Facebook page, or from this direct link.
Princess Yachts are immensely proud of the X95, a striking new addition to the range, as she boldly re-writes the rules of yacht design, and they are thrilled to have been able to share her launch through digital means, in this truly unique manner.
