Princess S80 – Boat International Award. The sensational new Princess S80 has received a Judges’ Commendation in the Best New Series category at Boat International magazine’s prestigious BOAT Design & Innovation Awards 2025, at the Superyacht Design Festival in Kitzbühel.
Recognised by an independent panel of industry experts, this commendation reflects Princess’ commitment to pioneering design, innovation, and craftsmanship.
According to Boat International, ‘The judges were impressed by a pocket superyacht in the Best New Series category, which one judge called “a great little boat that’s ideal for an owner-operator”. They deemed the Princess S80, the flagship of Princess Yachts’ sporty S series, deserving of a judges’ commendation based on its high-quality build, detailed exterior styling and cabin size. They also praised the reinvigorated layout, which sees the galley set aft on the main deck to emphasise the connection with the aft deck. The cockpit and foredeck show improvement over the S78 predecessor. The new flexible design features movable seats and an expanding dining table.’
Launched in September 2024 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, followed by her show debut at last month’s boot Düsseldorf, it’s a fantastic achievement for the S80 and testament to the dedicated team. Inspired by urban living, the S80 is a masterclass in contemporary style. With a single level main deck and a spacious sportbridge, free-flowing spaces are combined with stunning interior details.
The sportbridge of the S80 is made for entertaining. It includes a large U-shaped seating area, port and starboard companion seating, server with sink fridge and barbeque, and the option of a dining table and triple seats to the helm station.
The cockpit offers exceptional versatility, with configurable seating including adjustable, upholstered twin L-shaped seats which can manually slide in-board, outboard and forward-facing. Twin aft sunpads flank the teak-capped stairs leading to the spacious electro-hydraulic bathing platform.
Below deck, eight guests can enjoy four beautifully appointed en-suite cabins, all bathed in natural light from the elegant hull glazing, with a further twin cabin aft for occasional guests or crew. A dedicated staircase leads from the main deck to the full-beam owner’s stateroom amidships, via a private lobby area in the lower companion way.
