Marine Parts Advisor – Plymouth
Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Marine Parts Advisor to our team at Turnchapel Wharf, Plymouth UK.
You’ll be part of a team linked with our yacht services department, helping ensure that our customers’ requests, and the requirements of internal departments, are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner, to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction.
General Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all service department parts orders are acted on in a timely manner
- Ensure regular updates of delivery times to service department for all ordered parts
- To use Smart sheet to enable the service department to track all ordered parts
- To pre-pick parts for the next day to increase technicians’ efficiency
- To cover for the parts manager in his absence
- To work with Aftersales Manager to reach parts targets
- To ensure any parts not used or required are sent back for credit in a timely manner
- To gain experience of retro parts products to help in the sales process
- To have input with stock levels with the Part Manager
- To have regular meeting with the Production Manager to look at advanced bookings
- To look at upsell opportunities with the sale of service retail parts
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in accordance with company policy
